Adopt a GrowlKid I
Adopters and foster parents are a crucial part of saving shelter pets.  In order for
there to be room for another pet to come in to the shelter, one must go out.  GROWL
currently has pets in foster homes who need to be adopted.  If you are interested in
adopting one of the pets on this page, please contact us.  Transport is available!

Some pets do not have the time to wait for their perfect forever family to find them
in the shelter.  Please contact a GROWL volunteer if you have room in your home
and heart to foster a pet until they are adopted.
If you are a rescue interested in taking in one of these pets, contact us for rescue to
rescue transfer.

*All applicants are required to fill out an application (click the link below for an
application), complete a home visit and a vet check.
       "Bob" and "Cliff"
Bob and Cliff were strays who were lucky enough to be taken in to a foster home.  They are
neutered, up to date on all shots and heartworm negative.  Although shy at first, they quickly
warm up to people and LOVE to play.  They are best friends and although we would like them to
be adopted out together, they can be seperated.  They are anxious to find their forever homes!
"Major Winchester"
Hey everyone I am Major Winchester, and yes I do
answer to Major. I am around 9 yrs old and I am
chocolate in color. My family dumped me at a
shelter in Ohio and my Aunt Andrea and Aunt
Dawn got me all the way to NJ! I am crate and
house trained and I do know how to sit when
told. I'm a little confused as my family left me for
no reason but my foster mommy has told me
that a loving home will come for me soon and
I will have my very own family that loves me
like never before. Are you that family? If you
are I promise to love you forever!!
"Gabby and her pups"
Gabby and her pups are some LUCKY babies.  When Gabby's owners moved
out, they took the rest of the dogs but left her behind with her 5 pups.  She was
on a chain with no food, water or shelter.  Gabby is now in a foster home with her
5 puppies who are around 3 weeks old.  Gabby and her pups will be spayed and
neutered before they are adopted.  They will be available in June.  We believe
Gabby is a shepherd/hound mix.  She is around 1-2 years old.
